Consider the fantastic as well as the profound aspects of absurdism, expressionism, futurism, irrealism,
magic-realism and/or surrealism. Bring these considerations into the twenty-first century with completely unique
styles and original themes, and you're on the right path. Categorized; perhaps imaginative literature, literary
fantasy, or postmodernism. Please, no pop genres unless conceptually advanced, deeply provocative or satiric.
Based in London, Ontario, Canada, we eagerly invite local and national submissions. International talents are
more than welcome and will be considered without bias. Translations from French to English are no problem.
Distribution, like almost every press, is global
We are interested in all possible deviations of the graphic novel; word free graphic fiction, book art, collage
novels etc... For illustrated novels, the artwork should be as important an element to the story as the text - no
less than 33% of the pages should be occupied by visual images.
Novellas/novels... 25 000 to 100 000 words. We like poetic prose, minimalism, everything in between and
beyond... Plot lines must be truly original - allow your imagination to unhinge.
Queries only please. Start with an effective tag line; then... give us your best, three hundred word, “back of the
book” synopsis. Don’t outline your entire manuscript, don’t tell us how it ends, just give what is needed to get
us hooked.
If we like what we see, you will get a reply from one of our editors within a few weeks asking for the complete
manuscript.
